The Creative Edge Dance studio offers a fresh and stimulating recreational dance program featuring the most popular dance genres. Kids (age 3 and up) to adults can improve dance techniqueand learn innovative style. Classes are conducted at a more leisurely pace, keeping the fun in dance while furthering the dancers’ abilities.
Most dancers begin in a recreational level to learn the basic technique and gain experience performing on a stage and being part of a team. Dancers learn commitment, teamwork, time management and social skills that will set the stage for their future.
Our recreational classes offer something for everyone who wants to have the opportunity to grow as a dancer, without the higher commitment level of competitive dance. Students are placed according to both skill and age level. We offer classes to the young and young at heart. Children as young as 2.5 years old can begin to dance in our tiny toes program. We offer beginning to intermediate level recreational dance classes for children as well as adults.
Take 1 or more classes in any of the following dance styles. Classes are typically 1 hour each. After improving technique and style all year, students will have the opportunity to perform on stage in our year end recital show.
Classes begin in September and run until June
Parents/Guardians of Recreational students are encouraged to come inside the building at least once a week to read any posted information pertaining to your child’s classes as well as general studio information.

My kids love Creative Edge. As co-owners Miss Mo and Miss Cait have found the magic business formula: happy kids, great dance training, fresh choreography, and open two way communication with parents. Dance at Creative Edge is about dancers feeling special, getting fit and healthy, building their self esteem and learning life skills. I’m thrilled to be a part of Creative Edge.
